Talent 2025 can Become a Model for the Region

TALENT
2025 is proud to have been highlighted by Governor Snyder during
his special message on talent. The Governor put special
emphasis on internships, which are one of TALENT 2025’s Leading
Practices.
Enacting
successful strategies to develop, attract, and retain talent to
meet the needs of employers is critical to the success of West
Michigan and our state. Employers, educators, non-profits,
and government must work cooperatively to build a talent
development system that ensures the State of Michigan stays
competitive in a global economy.
Following
the presentation of his special message on talent, Governor Snyder
met with TALENT 2025 CEOs in Grand Rapids. The Governor wants to
encourage partnerships among businesses, educators, nonprofits, and
government to solve this talent crisis.
TALENT
2025 is in a perfect position to be a model for how regions can
improve their talent development, attraction, and retention
efforts. TALENT 2025’s Dashboard aligns with the governor’s
Talent Dashboard as well as the dashboard he issued for education
earlier this year.
