WMSA History
In 2002, WMSA published The Common Framework: Information and Maps for Decison Makers, a sourcebook that uses innovatitve geographic information system technologies to create a "common framework" document that clearly depicts how the communities in the region are connected. Intended as a tool for decision-makers, The Common Framework identified six Priorities for Regional Collaboration (PRC) and has been the foundation for the many partnerships fostered by WMSA to date.
- Creating a Regional Mindset
- Ensuring a Sustainable Environment
- Revitalizing our Urban Centers
- Developing a Growth Strategy
- Strengthening our Community through Diversity
- Fostering a Prosperous Community
